Capathia and Louis join forces with extraordinary song stylist Darius de Haas for an evening of song highlighting world-premieres of work specifically written for Ms. Jenkins and Mr. De Haas, including Rosen’s DREAM SUITE on poems by Langston Hughes; IT IS STILL DARK: SONGS OF EXILE, on words by Celso Gonzalez-Falla; as well as excerpts from TWELVE SONGS ON POEMS BY MAYA ANGELOU and NIGHT SONGS, lyrics by the composer, and much more. The splendid Alton Fitzgerald White, currently in his second year as Mufasa in The Lion King on Broadway, will also join Capathia in the premiere of DREAM SUITE, along with Capathia and Louis's steady collaborator, pianist David Loud.
